Application Scopes
Medium: gypsum slurry, alumina slurry, coal washing slurry, tailings slurry.
Pressure:<1.5MPa;

The single integrated structure is designed for shaft sleeve clamping and mounting onto the shaft to prevent interference during installation.
The flushing water does not enter the pump or affect the process fluid.
The seal is equipped with a large spiral spring to provide excellent resistance to clogging. Moreover, the friction pairing uses a hard-hard material combination for superior wear resistance.

When installing, inner hole of the shaft sleeve and O-ring should be applied with lubricant so that it can be installed smoothly.（Attention: EPR is not recommended to use lubrication oil of petroleum type）
After the mechanical seal installation is confirmed to be OK, the rubber O-ring 1 and the snap ring 2 shall be taken off before the machine being started.
Ordinary tap water can be used as the external flushing water and the pressure shall be controlled below 0.05 MPa, which just needs to enable it to flow on general condition. Its functions are to reduce temperature and bring away any potential leakage, and its running direction shall be the way of top in and bottom out.
Note:
The mechanical seal is applicable for the outer-cooling model slurry pump of any pump plant.
