1. The mechanical seal features a single-face integrated design, incorporating an inner shaft sleeve and sliding-type inner flushing mechanism transmitted by compact round discs. This configuration ensures that axial adjustments made to the pump during installation do not impact the compression of the mechanical seal.
2. To prevent pulp accumulation around the sealing surface and potential invalidation of the mechanical seal, the sealing cavity and tailboard should be designed as open as possible.
3. The mechanical seal is equipped with an externally connected flushing water system under pressure, which can be utilized to cleanse pulp deposits adjacent to the seal surface.
4. For detailed information regarding material selection, we recommend consulting Zigong Zhaoqiang Sealing Products Industrial Co., Ltd.
1. During installation, it is imperative to apply lubricant to the inner hole of the shaft sleeve and O-ring to ensure a smooth installation process. (Note: The use of petroleum-based lubrication oil is not recommended for EPR applications.)
2. Once the mechanical seal has been properly installed, it is crucial to dismantle the hexagon socket cap screws 1 and locating block 2 prior to initiating machine operation.
3. The flushing water pressure must be maintained at a level 0.1 MPa higher than the pressure of the media.
4. Before starting the pump, it is essential to open the quench water for a duration of 5 minutes prior to pump activation and to close the quench water for 5 minutes after shutting down the pump.
